The head of state arrived at the Uhuru Gardens where the event was slated to take place at around 11PM accompanied by the first lady Rachel Ruto.
His speech was largely focused on growing the economy and creating jobs for Kenyan youths. The president also promised that the high cost of living currently experienced by Kenyans will go down sooner rather than later empasizing that his administration is ready to tackle the challenges as soon as his cabinet is approved by the National Assembly.
He has also reiterated his earlier promise about the ‘Hustler’s Fund’, a 50billion kitty that will be disbursed on the 1st of December later this year.
