The governor of Isiolo county, Abdi Guyo Ibrahim has led the residents in marking this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations. This is his first major function since assuming office on August 25 2022.
He was accompanied by the newly-elected Isiolo County Assembly speaker Mohamed Roba Qotto(MRQ) and other local dignitaries. The function was held at Isiolo police mess as the Isiolo County Stadium is still under construction.
The function was also attended by the newly sworn in Isiolo county member of parliament Mumina Bonaya.
In his maiden speech, the governor asked the residents for patience and promised to sort out the challenges facing the electorates within the shortest time possible.
