President Trump Declares Successful Elimination of Key ISIS Operatives

Washington D.C., U.S.A.| The United States military carried out a series of precision airstrikes on Islamic State (ISIS) targets in Somalia on Saturday, February 1, as confirmed by President Donald Trump.

The strikes were aimed at eliminating a senior ISIS attack planner and other operatives linked to terrorist activities.

In an official statement posted on Truth Social, Trump declared, “This morning I ordered precision military air strikes on the Senior ISIS Attack Planner and other terrorists he recruited and led in Somalia.”

He further elaborated that the militants, who were hiding in caves, posed a direct threat to the United States and its allies.

“These killers, who we found hiding in caves, threatened the United States and our Allies. The strikes destroyed the caves they live in and killed many terrorists without, in any way, harming civilians,” Trump asserted.

The airstrikes are part of ongoing U.S. counterterrorism efforts in Africa, where extremist groups like ISIS and al-Shabaab continue to operate.

The U.S. military has previously conducted drone strikes and special operations targeting terrorist leaders in the region.

Trump criticized the Biden administration, alleging delays in targeting the ISIS operative.

“Our military has targeted this ISIS attack planner for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done. I did!” he stated.

The former president also issued a stern warning to terrorist organizations, asserting, “The message to ISIS and all others who would attack Americans is that ‘WE WILL FIND YOU, AND WE WILL KILL YOU!’”

While details about the precise location and extent of the airstrikes remain undisclosed, the operation underscores the United States’ continued commitment to combating terrorism in Africa.

The Pentagon has yet to release an official statement confirming casualty figures or the strategic impact of the strikes.

This development comes as Somalia remains a hotspot for militant activity, with U.S. and Somali forces frequently targeting ISIS and al-Shabaab fighters in the region.

The effectiveness of such strikes in curbing terrorist threats continues to be a focal point of U.S. military strategy in Africa.
