South African President Ramaphosa Arrives in Addis Ababa for 38th AU Summit


Addis Ababa, Ethiopia| South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to participate in the 38th African Union (AU) Summit, a high-level gathering of African leaders focused on continental development, security, and cooperation.

Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport, President Ramaphosa was warmly received by Ethiopia’s Minister of Innovation and Technology, Dr. Belete Molla, alongside other senior Ethiopian government officials.

His visit underscores South Africa’s commitment to strengthening regional ties and playing an active role in the African Union’s agenda for peace, economic integration, and sustainable development.

The 38th AU Summit, taking place in the Ethiopian capital, brings together heads of state and government from across the continent to deliberate on key issues, including conflict resolution, economic growth, climate resilience, and digital transformation.
