The Kamashinani Foundation, a philanthropic organization committed to supporting vulnerable students in Meru County, has held a mentorship program aimed at evaluating the progress of its beneficiaries and addressing the challenges they face in their academic journey.
The event, which took place in North Imenti, Meru County, brought together at least 180 students under the foundation’s sponsorship.
The initiative was spearheaded by Senator Kathuri Murungi, who is not only the director of the foundation but also serves as the Senate Deputy Speaker.
Murungi emphasized the foundation’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and personal growth among students, with a vision to create future leaders, innovators, and change-makers at the county, national, and global levels.

“This foundation is doing a great job of ensuring that girls and boys who would have otherwise been unable to afford secondary education now have the opportunity to shape their future.
