Isiolo residents have rallied behind Principal Secretary for Petroleum and Energy, Mohamed Liban, condemning the recent unfounded allegations being circulated by certain politicians.
The residents dismissed the claims as baseless and an attempt to undermine his leadership.
Speaking to the media, community leaders and residents lauded the PS for his dedication and contributions, particularly his efforts in reducing fuel prices, which they credited to his proactive leadership within the ministry.
One local remarked, “Mohamed Liban is a dedicated and hardworking leader. His appointment has brought meaningful change to our community, and these allegations only serve to distract from the significant progress he has made.”
Another resident echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the PS’s track record of achievements: “His work speaks for itself. Instead of engaging in smear campaigns, we should focus on supporting his efforts to improve the sector.”
The residents also called on politicians to prioritize service delivery over divisive politics, urging them to use social media responsibly and avoid disseminating defamatory content about public figures.
Expressing confidence in Mohamed Liban’s leadership, the community urged for unity in supporting his continued efforts, believing that his initiatives will contribute positively to the region’s development and the broader national economy.
