The County Government of Isiolo, through the Department of Lands, Urban Planning, and Housing, has issued the first-ever title deed for Chari Dedha community land in Bulesa.
This historic step secures land rights for the community and paves the way for economic growth.
With formal ownership, the Chari Dedha community can now access greater opportunities in agriculture, infrastructure, and development projects.
This milestone aims to boost livelihoods and strengthen local economic progress.
To ensure transparency, the department engaged key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Lands, community representatives, and development partners.
Their involvement was crucial in making the process inclusive and reflective of community needs.
“This achievement reaffirms our commitment to securing land rights for all communities,” said the County Executive Committee Member for Lands.
“By formalizing ownership, we empower our people to unlock their land’s full potential.” He added.
This title deed launch is part of the County Government’s broader plan to enhance land governance and promote sustainable development across Isiolo.
