Gachagua Promises Major Announcement for Kenyans in January 2025

Former Kenyan Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has announced that he will share important developments with the public in January 2025.

“Come January, I will reveal to you what we have been talking about,” he stated during a church service at AIPCA Kangari in Kigumo, Murang’a County.

Gachagua emphasized that he has been in discussions with various leaders regarding this significant issue and plans to disclose the details in the new year. He remarked,

“Naendelea kuongea na watu. Viongozi wetu wa kanisa, wafanya biashara wetu, professionals wetu na viongozi ambao wanapenda watu wetu tunaongea. January hii nitamueleza vile tumesikizana,” he said

His comments come shortly after Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka confirmed ongoing talks with Gachagua, referring to them as efforts to “build a strong coalition.”

“We will talk to everyone going forward to build a strong coalition. What I can say is that there will come a time when we will ask everyone to validate their membership in Azimio and expand,” Musyoka added.

Kalonzo and Eugene Wamalwa’s DAP-Kenya party have hinted at the possibility of leaving the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition to join forces with Gachagua, suggesting that a new political alliance could be established early next year.

Allies of Kalonzo informed the Arabia Media Network that efforts are underway to finalize the new coalition by the end of this year.

Makueni MP Daniel Maanzo, a close associate of Kalonzo, mentioned that the new political entity should be ready by next month.

“We are working on the new coalition and looking for new partners; it should be in place by Christmas. We are first making sure we have as many like-minded parties as possible,” Maanzo stated.

“We are working together with the community (Mt. Kenya). It is one of the regions we are going to work with,” he added.
