PSG and Bayern Munich have a long history against each other. The two first squared off in the 1999 UEFA Champions League semifinals in a two-legged tie. Bayern emerged victorious, winning 3-2 on aggregate.
In the 2000 Champions League group stage, PSG and Bayern Munich played to a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes. They then met in the quarterfinals of the 2011-12 Champions League, with Bayern winning 4-0 on aggregate.
The two teams also played each other frequently during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons in the Champions League. Bayern Munich won their first encounter 3-0 in Paris and then beat PSG 1-0 in Munich. In the return leg in Paris, PSG triumphed 3-0 to win the tie on away goals.
In their most recent meeting in the 2020 Champions League final, Bayern Munich beat PSG 1-0 to become European champions.

PSG and Bayern Munich have met a total of 12 times in UEFA Champions League competition, with the German side holding a slight advantage with 6 wins to PSG’s 4.
PSG’s history began in 1970 and they have since become one of the most successful clubs in European soccer. They have won eight Ligue 1 titles and six French Cups, as well as three UEFA Cups and one UEFA Champions League title.
Bayern Munich has a long and storied history as well. The club was founded in 1900 and has won an astonishing 30 German championships, 18 German Cups and six UEFA Champions League titles. They have also appeared in the Champions League final a record 11 times.
PSG and Bayern Munich have both enjoyed tremendous success in European competition and their head-to-head record is reflective of that. They are two of the most competitive sides in the continent and their meetings in the future will surely be as exciting as their previous encounters.
