Kabianga school is a boys’ national high school located in Kabianga, Belgut sub-county, Kericho county in Kenya. It has been an educational giant within Kericho county and Kenya as a country.
Founded in 1927 during the colonial times, it has produced various notable leaders and produced good results over the past few years.
It offers a wide range of subjects including Drawing and design, Building and construction, woodwork and in languages french is one of the foreign languages taught in the institution.
In sports they offer various activities from hockey, rugby, football, handball, badminton, tennis, table tennis among many more. They are the sporting giants in rugby and hockey within the rift valley regional sports.
In the year 2015 they faced a huge setback of a dorm going up in flames and students going on strike. This led to a change in the School principal with Dr. Joash Aloo being brought in to take charge. This saw a rapid change in the discipline and performance of the school with 2021 results being their best in a long while.
Currently they are the top most preffered School by students nation wide despite its high population with over 600 students being admitted each year. More than 150000 students have made an application to join the school in this year’s admission window which says a lot about how the school is regarded.
