Nairobi, Kenya| President William Samoei Ruto has called on every citizen who has attained the majority age of eighteen years to start paying taxes. The president was speaking at a Taxpayers forum organized by the Kenya Revenue Authority(KRA) that was held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre(KICC).
The president emphasized that the only way the country can start becoming productive is if every citizen paid their taxes as required. Ruto has since being sworn in stressed on the need to expand tax brackets to be able to add to the critically indebted National treasury.
