EPL Matchweek 21 Review


Premier league action continued this weekend as we are at the peak of mid season. As things stand, Arsenal still are at the top 5 points clear.

The two Manchester club and Newcastle make up the top four as Southampton, Everton and Bournemouth battle at the bottom to avoid relagation.

Chelsea and Liverpool had to settle for a goalles draw at anfield with new signing Mudryk lighting up the match when he came on for Hall. Both clubs are currently in a poor form despite the new signing who are yet to adapt to the premier league.

Westham beat Everton 2-0 at the london stadium. Jarred Bowen score both goals in the first half to inspire David Moyes team to a win. Everton sit second bottom with an injury ridden squad while hoping to make a turn around to avoid relegation.

Leicester held Brighton to a 2-2 draw at the kingpower stadium. Kaoru Mitoma stole the show with a fabulously taken goal and amazing dribbling skills. Harvey Barnes and Albrighton scored for leicester while brightons youngters Ferguson netted a late equalizer.

Relegation threatened Southampton lost to Aston villa at st marys park courtesy of a Ollie Watkins goal and the heroics of Emiliano martinez.

Bournemouth and Nottm Forest play a 1-1 draw with Sam surridge getting the equalizer after Jaidon Anthony first half goal.

Newcastle and Crystal palace played for a barren draw which means hopes for European football next season for Newcastle is still alive despite dropping points.

Sunday saw Brentford and Leeds play out to a barren draw. Manchester city eased past Wolves scoring three goals all by Erling Haaland.

Arsenal grabbed a later winner to beat Manchester united at the Emirates with the game ending 3-2

Erling Haaland still tops the top scorers charts having scored 25 goals while Kevin De bruyne is the best assister in the league currently with 11 assists to his name.
