Top five premier league January transfer


The winter transfer window opened on 1st of january 2023 and is set to end on 31st of January 2300Hrs GMT. It has had few drama and unexpected transfers. We take a look at the top 5 transfers.

CODY GAKPO: A very versatile forward from the dutch League who was on Manchester united’s radar for a while but has since signed for Liverpool.

Manchester united showed hesitation giving Liverpool the chance to sign him on a permanent deal. He is yet to make an impact with Liverpool currently struggling to find their form.

JOAO FELIX:The Portuguese forwad joined chelsea on a six months loan deal from Atletico de Madrid. He has since had a rough start to his time at chelsea after picking a red card against Fulham on his debut.

Arsenal and Manchester united were the most  possible  destination for the forward but chelsea struck a quick agreement with the player and club as they look to strengthen their attack.

WOUT WERGHOST: Another dutch international forward move to the Premier league as he signed for Manchester united on a six months loan deal from burnely.

He is well known for his aerial ability with Erick ten Hag insisting that the forward has all it takes to succeed at the Theatre of dreams.

BENOIT BADIASHILE: A €35M move from Monaco to Chelsea for the french defender being a future project for chelsea. He looks to continue his fine form as a defender at the Premier League with chelsea who look to be preparing for an entire squad overhaul.


MYKHAILO MUDRYK : Most recent transfer saga has seen the Ukrainian ace move to Chelsea over london rivals Arsenal. He was heavily linked with Arsenal and he had shown interest in joining Arsenal but various reports indicated that Chelsea had struck and agreement with Shakhtar for his tranfer for a record €100m.
