Las Vegas PD has confirmed that Duane Keith Davis alias ‘Keefe D’ has been arrested in the connection of the 1996 homicide of multi platinum rapper/actor Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas.

The arrest comes a decade after the release of a book and documentary by former LAPD detective Greg Kading, which revealed a taped confession by Keefe D who admitted his nephew Orlando Anderson was the shooter, hours after being assaulted by Shakur at the MGM following a Mike Tyson fight on 9/7/1996. Tupac would die seven days later on 9/13/1996.

Keefe D, a leader of the south Compton Crip street gang, admitted to also being in the car during the drive by shooting in the tape and additional televised interviews in recent interviews.

Keefe D detailed the motive for the shooting was retaliation and to collect on a $1 million dollar bounty he claims Sean Puffy Combs aka P Diddy offered to him and his gang to kill Tupac and Suge Knight.

P Diddy has yet to be arrested himself and has refused to address the allegations in public interviews, instead changing the subject.

Below is the video of the law enforcement authorities updating the press regarding the arrest of the suspect connected to the legendary rapper’s fatal shooting back in 1996;

Duane Keefe D Davis’ home was raided by police in Henderson, Nevada just outside of Las Vegas back in July and several computers and items were reportedly seized. Apparently evidence was found linking him to the crime in addition to his public confession. This is a developing story.
