Isiolo, Kenya| Sahawa, the newest artist in Frontier’s budding entertainment industry has finally released the full visuals for her debut commercial song titled Askootu.
The artist who hails from Merti Sub-County in Isiolo County had towards the periphery of last year released the preview to the song. The preview, which was about two minutes was well received and positively reviewed by several industry analysts.
The local vernacular radio stations picked up the song and it quickly became a fan favourite. The song started getting requested on radio at such a rate that, Angaaf, one of the most popular local stations invited her to their studios to make her known to her fans.
Sahawa, whose real names are Sadia Haro Wario, started out as a campaign musician where her songs became some of the most played campaign tunes.
The incumbent women representative for Isiolo, Ms. Mumina Bonaya entirely relied on the tunes made by Sahawa to keep the crowd engaged at campaign rallies.
