Arsenal vs Manchester united match recap


Premier League clash between Arsenal and Manchester United is one match not to miss each season. It always produces one of the greatest iconic moments if not goals.

Matchweek 21 saw the two club meet at the Emirates stadium. Arsenal came into the match top of the table seeking to boost their title hopes and open a gap between them and fellow rivals.

United on the other hand came into the match sitting at position 4 and being the only team to beat Arsenal this season.

With each team in a good form, the match as expected has Arsenal piling pressure on united. Marcus rashford smashed home a well taken goal for the opener.

Eddie nketiah found Xhaka’s cross for an equalizer moments after rashford’s opener. Arsenal’s constant pressure caused lots of problems for Manchester united.

The second half got to a bright start before saka curled in a superb goals past degea. Shortly afterwards Lisandro Martinez headed in after ramsdale weak punch from a corner.

Most of the half saw united being pushed towards their goal due to Arsenal’s pressure which finally paid off as Nketiah one again pounced on a ball past degea.

Too little too late for united as Arsenal sealed a hard fought 3-2 win. This means they are top of the table with five points lead while united remain 4th winless in their past two matches.

Arsenal next up face Manchester city in the FA cup as united battle it out with N. Forest in the EFL cup semifinals.
